Do you live the principles that you teach? Were you trained to teach? Does your curriculum satisfy the statutory requirement of a minimum of 4 hours? If you answered "No" to any of these questions, you deserve this training.Do you ever worry that you are crossing the line from education into therapy (forbidden by law)? Do you have long breaks to stretch your classes to meet the 4-hour minimum requirement? Do you require parents to share personal information and rely on long discussions of individual problems to meet your 4-hour requirement? Do you ever end early? If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, you need this training.— CURRENT OR NEW PROVIDER! (organization, agency, community college, etc. hosting multiple instructor teams)A Positive Divorce Resolution (PDR) instructors complete a 24-hour instructor training which includes an actual 4-hour course taught by PDR trainers. PDR is a presentation which combines visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning with five critical elements of education. The course content focuses on the five keys to understanding and building relationships, including the relationship with self. These critical elements and keys are woven into the context of divorce, family reorganization and shared parental responsibility during the PDR Course. PDR offers a clear flow while including all topics commonly required in court-mandated divorce education. PDR has been an approved class in Florida since 1993 and meets requirements of Section 61.21 Florida Statutes and the curriculum requirements of the Florida Department of Children and Families. These curriculum requirements are generally accepted in all states. Our focus is on quality of instructors, quality of material and quality of program. This latter area includes several requirements that ensure that the course is administered and taught in a way that maximizes the learning opportunity for all participants. PDR is a program you can be proud to offer. We would be glad to talk with you about your requirements and time table. We provide all materials, consultation and guidance needed to teach and administer the program. The pages listed above provide additional information. Thank you again for your interest in PDR the best program for parents. Sincerely, |
